The Petrovic CFIDS Health Center (formerly Longevitas Health Center) international web sites was first launched in the USA in 1995 , as one the world's first web sites on Chronic Fatigue (Immunodysfunction) Syndrome ( CFIDS / CFS / ME). It remains one of the most comprehensive informational resources on CFIDS/CFS/ME and describes the ongoing research behind the CFIDS Protocol, a structured nutritional and biochemical programme designed to support immune and energy balance.

Dr Nebojsa "Nash" Petrovic MD was the first physician (YU) and medical researcher (RSA) in the world to launch his novel free radical etiological concept of Chronic Fatigue (Immunodysfunction) Syndrome as an operative and optimal clinical and therapeutic basis for treatment of this syndrome as well as for treatment of various auto-immune entities (Ulcerative colitis, Chron's disease and systemic lupus erythematosus ) and/or entities that include an autoimmune component (asthma ). In fact, the Petrovic CFIDS Health Center is the first research facility to have documented histologically verified remission of Crohn's disease in three CFIDS/Crohn's participants, confirmed by biopsy and follow-up histopathology at independent medical centres in South Africa and Australia. Based on this concept the original modality of the CFIDS Treatment Protocol for post viral and other forms of chronic fatigue was formulated according to the best pharmaceutical standards in 1994.

Professional activities, including medical research, clinical consultancy, and patient program development, continue remotely and without interruption. A new location is being arranged, and updates will be provided in due course.
